Why Your "Failed" Year Might Be Your Greatest Manifesting Success
What if everything that’s happened this year went exactly as it should? I know, I know…. something in you might be pushing back on that question 😅
Because maybe this year didn’t feel like it went according to plan. Maybe you didn’t hit goals you set. Maybe a relationship ended when you didn’t expect it to. Maybe work took unexpected turns or dreams felt delayed.
But what if all of that was exactly right?
I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately because of something that happened to me this year that felt completely “wrong” at the time… was actually a wonderful gift from the Universe!
A friend turned out not to be a friend.
Without going into all the messy details, let’s just say I discovered someone I trusted wasn’t who I thought they were. It felt devastating.
For a while there, I couldn’t stop myself from thinking: “How could I have missed the red flags?” But here’s what I realized…
This “friend” was taking up so much of my energy. Emotional space. Mental bandwidth. Time that could have been spent elsewhere.
When she left my life, it created this beautiful, fresh new energy. Suddenly I had space I didn’t even know I was missing.
And in that space? An old friend and I started to connect with each other in a whole new, deeper, more meaningful way without even trying…an energetic shift that I did not see coming.
And then almost like the Universe was showing off…I met an incredible new friend who’s an absolute force of nature.
This woman makes a meteor look tame 😂She’s a mover, a shaker, a go-getter who lights up every room she enters and somehow makes everything seem possible.
I lost one “friend” and gained 2 real ones.
But here’s the thing that really gets me…this never could have happened if that first situation hadn’t fallen apart.
The Universe was protecting me from me.
I was trying so hard to make that friendship work, but the Universe had bigger dreams for me than I could have imagined.
Sometimes what feels like failure is actually the Universe clearing space for what’s truly meant for you.
This is what I mean by “trusting the Universe’s protection vs. your own plans.”
My plan was to maintain that friendship. The Universe’s plan was to protect my energy and redirect me toward people who would actually nourish my soul.
My plan was smaller. The Universe’s was perfect 💖
So I’m curious: What happened recently that felt “wrong” but might actually have been the Universe clearing space for something better?
🎉Maybe that job that didn’t work out protected you from settling for less than you deserve.
🎉Maybe that relationship that ended made space for a deeper connection with yourself.
🎉Maybe that business idea that flopped was redirecting you toward your true calling.
What if you choose to feel successful not because everything went to plan, but because you learned to trust the Universe’s perfect orchestration?
What if the greatest gift was discovering that the Universe’s wisdom is far more magnificent than anything you could have orchestrated on your own?
What if everything that’s happened went exactly as it should? ✨
I’d love for you to reflect on this question: What seemed wrong this year but you’re now grateful for?
