The Most Powerful Manifesting Amplifier There Is (It's Not What You Think)
I caught myself doing it again last week while working on my new book (coming in 2027! See more in the P.S. 🎉).
One thought crowding into another, one idea crashing into the next, my mind absolutely buzzing with “what if I say it this way? No, wait…maybe that way would be better?”
I was thinking about the book pretty much constantly. I did it in the shower, I did it while drinking my morning coffee, right before falling asleep at night and just about every moment in between.
My brain was like a browser with 47 tabs open, all playing different videos at once 😂
Eventually the realization arose…this is exactly what we do with manifesting.
We think about our desires constantly. We strategize. We refine. We turn manifesting into mental gymnastics that never quite finds solid ground.
But here’s what I’ve been learning (and living) lately… the most powerful thing you can bring to your manifestations is space.
If you can read music like me, you’ll recognize those little symbols that look like upside down hats in sheet music. They indicate “whole” rests, which are the longer pauses between notes.
Without those rests, music would just be noise. The space between the notes is what gives the melody its beauty, its meaning, and its power.
The same is true about manifesting.
When we’re constantly “doing” manifesting activities – think affirmations, visualizations, scripting etc – we’re playing with the unlimited energy of the Universe minus the rests.
We’re creating energetic noise instead of a beautiful manifesting symphony.
Intentionally including space in your manifesting is a power move.
When you create space, you give your Manifesting Response System time to recalibrate. You let your nervous system shift from “doing” mode into “receiving” mode.
Artists understand this intuitively. White space in design isn’t empty is what makes everything else on the canvas beautiful, and impactful. What’s not on the canvas is just as important as what is.
Your manifesting practice needs white space too so here’s my invitation to you this week (and it’s deliciously simple):
Do absolutely nothing with your manifesting, for the next 7 days (if you can’t manage 7 days, try it for 3 days or just 24 hours)
Don’t chant affirmations. Don’t think about your desires or check to see if anything’s happening. Don’t even look at your vision board!
Just rest and create white space.
Maybe take a 1 Healing Breath of Serenity (see how to do this, below) when you think about your desires, then let them go.
Know that the Universe is composing your manifesting symphony in the pauses. Notice how different this feels and see how holding less tightly actually lets more flow in.
Because I’m discovering that the tighter I grip, the more I block.
And the more space I create, the more my desires show up in ways that feel so effortless that it also feels almost illegal 😂
