Why I Stopped Trying to "Get Into" Abundance Frequency

I used to think being “in the frequency of abundance” meant walking around feeling grateful for everything all the time.

It’s that approach where we focus on appreciating what we have as a pathway to receiving more. This is a beautiful practice and it has its place in manifesting work.

But I’ve discovered that the true frequency of abundance is something entirely different.

Here’s what I mean:

I was getting my hair done at my usual salon a while back, when a woman in the chair next to me started to vent loudly to her stylist about her job, her landlord, her dating life – basically everything 😅

Old me would have felt my energy instantly deflate like a punctured balloon. I’d have started mentally reciting gratitude lists to “stay positive” or tried to physically move away to “protect my vibe.”

But here’s what I noticed that day: I felt completely unshaken and not because I was forcing positivity or building energetic walls.

I realized that my Manifesting Response System (what I call the network of thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and physical responses that influence how we receive abundance) had genuinely stabilized into the frequency of abundance

A beautiful, steady knowing  that ‘you’re safe, you’re worthy, you’re magnetic’ no matter what’s swirling around you.

Turns out, feeling anchored, safe and comfortable in my own skin is what actually matters when it comes to experiencing and manifesting abundance.

When you’re in the frequency of abundance, you’re not constantly monitoring your thoughts or policing your emotions.  You’re not frantically trying to “stay high vibe.” 

Think about how you sometimes feel completely relaxed and at home in your own space

Maybe curled up on your couch, dishwasher running quietly in the background, and you’re just… settled. 

That’s the frequency of abundance, except “home” is your own energy field.

I think this is why so many of us struggle with traditional abundance manifesting practices. 

We’re trying to think our way into a feeling, rather than creating that comfort, protection and inner safety that allows the feeling to arise naturally.

So this week, instead of trying to “remember to feel grateful” or “raise your vibration,” what if you simply asked: “What would it feel like to be completely comfortable, safe and protected being myself right now?”

Take 1 Healing Breath of Abundance (see below 🤩) with whatever answer arises.

Notice how different that feels from trying to be abundant versus allowing abundance to flow through your already-worthy self.

You don’t need to earn what’s already yours. The frequency of abundance is just you being you –  unguarded. Unafraid. Ready to receive your deepest desires ✨
