How to Transform 'Bad Day' Energy Into Manifesting Clarity

I’d just finished my morning 1 Healing Breath practice and my morning tasks, answering emails and recording a new course.

I was feeling wonderfully centered so I decided to drive over to my favorite cafe for an early lunch.

It’s the kind of place where the staff knows your name, where you celebrate weekly wins on weekends with their incredible desserts… where you sit in the corner booth and let ideas flow while savoring a perfect cappuccino.

But when I got there, everything was shut and there was a sign on the door that simply said ‘PERMANENTLY CLOSED.’

Just like that. No warning, no goodbye, my little sanctuary was gone 💔

I felt this wave of sadness wash over me and it made sense. After all, I was losing a much-loved touchstone, a place that felt like home.

And then a voice in my head piped up: “Stop feeling bad about this! Keep your vibration UP!”

Before I could fully launch into “positivity mode,” my phone buzzed. It was a message from a client: “Hey! I know this is last minute, but do you think we can reschedule our call to tomorrow? Something urgent just came up.”

I started typing back something cheerful and accommodating, but my body felt heavy and tight. My shoulders were tense. Something felt completely off and my intuition kicked in.

My body is my divining rod, and it’s showing me exactly what my manifesting energy actually needs.

The physical tension was my body saying “no” to the forced positivity. The contraction I felt was my system rejecting the idea that I had to push down my true feelings to show up for my client.

So I paused. Placed my hands over my heart and took 1 Healing Breath of Awareness.

Then I asked myself: How can I let myself feel sad about losing my special, little cafe AND still show up fully for my client?

The moment I let both feelings coexist – genuine disappointment and my desire to be there for my client – my body started to relax. My breathing deepened. I felt more expansive, more like myself.

From this authentic, embodied place, I responded to my client with honest enthusiasm about finding a time that worked for both of us.

The exchange flowed effortlessly because I wasn’t fighting against part of myself anymore.

Here’s what I’ve learned about the permission to feel ALL the feels (including the so-called negative ones):

🌱 Your body’s guidance about what’s actually aligned is the real key to manifesting. NOT controlling your feelings

When you honor what’s real, you create space for powerful manifesting energy to flow

The Universe isn’t a stern teacher marking down every “negative” feeling. And just like we can’t hide our true feelings from ourselves, we can’t hide them from the Universe either.

Real manifesting results appear in your life when you show up for yourself on the inside with honesty, compassion, and trust in your own wisdom – not when you pretend everything is sunshine and rainbows.
