I have a question for you and I’d love for you to answer it before you think too hard 😊

What happens in that split second right before you open your banking app?

Maybe your thumb hovers over the icon or your jaw tightens ever so slightly (just in case the number isn’t what you were hoping for!).

Nobody talks about this habit because it’s SO small and SO fast. It’s over before you’ve even registered that it happened.

Here’s the thing though. That flinch shows up whenever you check your balance, and it tags along to every invoice, every bill, and every “your payment is due” email too. 

Add it all up and you’re wincing your way through dozens of money interactions a week without ever saying a word out loud.

I’ve spotted this tiny flinch in countless clients over the years, including some of the most abundant, successful people you’d never suspect.

So why does something this small make such a big difference when it comes to manifesting abundance, especially when it comes to money and wealth? It comes down to this…

The Universe doesn’t care about the number.

When you open that app, the Universe has no idea what figure is on your screen.  What gets picked up is the energy you bring when you look. 

The Universe scans the energy underneath the number... and for most of us, what’s underneath is a well-rehearsed little flinch that says “Please don’t let the number be bad.”

Every wince is a tiny order placed. 😬

Your balance might be perfectly fine (and so often it is!). But the Universe receives the brace dozens of times a week…

And lovingly delivers more experiences that match it, which means more reasons to brace!

This is where a practice I call The Money Scan comes in. I’ve adapted it here as a “pre-look ritual” that takes about 10 seconds:

Before you open the app (or the invoice, or bill), rub your palms together until you feel a little heat. 

Place your warm palms over your heart and take 1 Healing Breath of Freedom (see below on how to do this).

Then ask gently: “What would this number feel like if it meant freedom?” 🎉

Stay with the warmth under your hands until the question feels true, even a little. Then… look.

The number will be whatever the number is. What’s changed is what you’re transmitting to the Universe as you meet it 💫

So here’s my invitation for the week ahead…

Pick one money interaction you brace for, whether that’s your banking app or the stack of mail on the kitchen counter, and give it the pre-look ritual. 

Warm palms, hands on heart, 1 Healing Breath of Freedom, the question…and then look.

Every time you do, you’re placing a brand new order with the Universe…

You’re essentially saying, “I’m ready for money that arrives with ease and numbers that feel like freedom.” 

That’s exactly the kind of order the Universe loves to fill 💖
